Die 50 schnellsten Muscle Cars
Die folgende
Liste der 50 schnellsten Muscle Cars habe ich auf einer Webseite gefunden, und
stammt offenbar aus einer Muscle Car Zeitschrift. Es handelt sich dabei um die
Zeit für die Viertelmeile (400m) aus dem Stand, und der Geschwindigkeit
am Ende der Distanz (in Meilen pro Stunde, mit 1,6 multiplizieren für km/h).
Es ist leider nicht immer klar, um welche Motorisierung es sich dabei handelt,
und wie die Werte ermittelt wurden ist mir auch nicht bekannt. Bei dem ersten
Auto, der Shelby Cobra, handelt es sich mehr um ein Renn- als um ein Straßenauto.
Auch die Corvette ist für mich kein richtiges Muscle Car, sie war schon
immer "America's only true sports car", also ein Sportwagen, und das waren Muscle
Cars nie. Viele waren nur geradeaus schnell - weder Fahrwerk noch Bremsen waren
für richtig sportliches Fahren ausgelegt.
