ARCADES
Description
ARCADES (Artillery Command and Data Exchange System) is a system for controlling the data required for effective use of artillery. ARCADES draws targeting data from various sources, selects the most urgent targets, compiles the fire missions and sends all necessary data to the selected artillery batteries.
ARCADES is usually mounted on a vehicle. The vehicle allows mobility and safety. It provides enough room for four operators and supplies the power necessary for operation of the comunication and calculation equipment. One ARCADES vehicle usually links a company of artillery, a PAARTS vehicle and several spotters, though the system can easily handle data for units of up to regimental size.
ARCADES has no real game use, it is rather intended to be used by GMs to make the use of artillery more realistic. You are encouraged to think of effects ARCADES might have, and please tell me of any "use" you've found for ARCADES.
