Infantry
Nobody wants to play the same 'mechs all the time, and nobody wants to play the same infantry all the time either. Try these new infantry types and tell me how you like them.

Special Forces

Special forces usually come in squads (seven soldiers). They are trained in stealth and night operations. While requiring much more training, they work undercover and are harder to detect and eliminate.

Game use: Special Forces operate in squads, and only one Special Forces squad may be in one hex at a time (because they seek the best cover). Damage to Special Forces squads not in cover is not doubled. Damage to Special Forces in cover is cut in half (rounded up). Special Forces may use any weapon.

TAG infantry

TAG infantry carries target-acquisition gear for "painting" enemy 'mechs.

Game use: TAG infantry may carry only assault rifles. For each complete squad (7 men), one TAG is carried and may be used to paint targets. Use the TAG rules.

Minesweepers

Minesweepers are trained specifically to detect and destroy mines.

Game use: Minesweepers my carry only assault rifles because of the minesweeping equipment. Add +3 to Minesweepers' roll for clearing a hex of mines.

Inferno SRM infantry

Inferno SRM infantry carries inferno missiles in its SRM launchers.

Game use: Use like SRM infantry. Treat each to 2 damage by Inferno SRM infantry to a target as a hit of an Inferno missile.
