
MAD-3W Marauder
'Mechs that can be refitted: MAD-3D, MAD-D3D Marauder
Changes involved: Removal of the AC/5 and ammo. Actuator, myomer, engine, and targeting/tracking system overhaul. Addition of two Magna Mk.II medium lasers to the left and right torso, six heat sinks, and one ton of armor.
Employment: The MAD-3W can replace the MAD-3D everywhere. It has more long range and short range fire-power. Continuous firing of both PPCs is possible without heat build-up. No danger of ammo-explosion, no AC/5 that doesn't work because the coupling got hit. And you'll be sure your Marauder gets home on its own legs.
Time required for refit: 2-5 days, depending on the availability of workers and the condition of your Marauder.
Cost: Depending on the condition of your Marauder. We won't deliver a 'Mech that's not in top notch condition, so refitting a damaged or heavily used 'Mech will increase the cost. Price is based on the workhours required, the weapon and equipment prices, and the price for necessary armor upgrades and repairs.
We pay fair prices for the obsolete AC/5 of your Marauder.
