Overview: Wittwex Inc.'s THB-1 Thunderbird is a 50-ton, jump capable
'Mech, armed with a PPC, two medium lasers and an SRM-6. It offers a good
mix of mobility, armor protection and firepower.
Employment: The THB-1 Thunderbird can replace 'Mechs such as the Centurion, Griffin and Wolverine. As a member of a medium lance, it offers good firepower. The PPC as long-range weapons or the two medium lasers and the SRM-6 in close combat can be fired continuously while running. Jump Jets offer great mobility in wooden and urban areas. The Thunderbird is a multi-role 'Mech.
Availability: Wittwex Inc. always has a small number of Thunderbirds available for immediate shipping. Larger numbers of up to 50 'Mechs require 6 months to a year for production and shipping.
